Come by the office to say hi and drop off your answers or put your answers in the box outside A-22 any time this week (through Friday). Everyone who answers all questions correctly by Friday at 5 P.M. will win a prize and one person will win the Grand Prize. True/False: A) As an undergraduate Brett played the Provost in Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure. B) In high school Brett once ate 26 ribs to win a local eating contest. C) As a senior in college Brett ended up having to write two separate senior theses. D) In high school Brett received an A in Girls’ Basketball. I did not ask for it and I don't want one. Can I send it back? Signed, Affronted in A Dear Affronted, Dial back the dominion of your opinion, I say. The beauty of our red phones (which are very groovy and 'IKEA', if you ask me) is that they provide an accurate locating device for an emergency. You can avail yourself of help in a crisis any time day or night by simply punching 4 numbers: 9-9-1-1 and--unlike your cell phone-- this call will *not* end up at some Sheriff's office in Fitchburg MA as "unknown caller". It will go directly to Cambridge PD with appropriate and precise location coding. Isn't that incredible? (Now, if only we could program it for Domino's we would be in business...) ~Beth ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FROM THE FELLOWSHIPS TUTORS * Susanna Mierau (smierau@fas.harvard.edu) * Josh Goldman (jdgoldm@fas.harvard.edu) * Courtney Peterson (cmpeters@fas.harvard.edu) LOWELL HOUSE FELLOWSHIPS WEBSITE The Fellowships section of the Lowell House website features an annotated list of common fellowships designed to make it easy to find fellowships that will fund whatever it is that you're hoping to do.
