March 19, 2009: Sprinkler Project Update

A couple of notes, anytime during the project should you have a question and or concern, please feel free to call me at (617.495.2282). If I am not available please call 617.495.5560 (Ops center) and ask to have me paged.

A lot of effort has been put into to controlling the noise and any coring outside of the designated times will not be allowed. I have made an effort to let you know where the coring will be taking place; I will not be able to stop the coring if they are working as per the plan.

Contractors have been reminder that they are working in a occupied building and are expected to mindful of this and that through Lowell House will be under a fair amount of construction for the next two months. I expect that they will work to the high standards that we have set. Please let me know if you don't believe that they are.

A question about items on the wall was asked, In the past coring has not been a problem in regards to knocking items off the wall, but it is always wiser to be safe and take any item off the wall that you feel may not survive the fall to the floor.
